In the last year or so, via Skull Skates related promotion from Bill Danforth, The Barrier Kult, and shop riders, we have watched Tracker become our primary truck brand for park, bowl riding, and street. It is at the point now that Tracker is so strong in the store and the local Skull Skates related community that we simply offer the Tracker line as the stock basis. Most of the sales have been based around the almighty Danforth Sixtrack which is ridden by the Barrier Kult, and has made MANY believers out of former other brand riders. The Danforth is the go-to truck in our store for any deck over 9″ wide and we have sold through multiple cases, now seeing the trucks everywhere. It’s hard to beat the hardcore made in the USA, old school kingpin, 6 holes, and the killer color combination. As soon as the Jay Adams trucks arrived recently, they were sold out straight away – setting the stage for even further Vancouver Tracker dedication.
I included some photos of the store; completes that always feature the Danforth Sixtrack, the dedicated Tracker chest of drawers, the Danforth and Barrier Kult Skull Skates line-up, 70s build-up with Trackers, etc. Hopefully you can make use of them somehow.
Opened in 1976, PD’s HOT SHOP is Canada’s oldest skate shop and we have been selling Trackers from the beginning.
